Introduced to the sport by his father, Omar, alongside his brothers, stepped into the boxing gym, igniting a passion that would shape his life.

Omar’s ascent in the boxing world is a testament to dedication and skill. Starting as a young pugilist, he honed his craft and emerged as an integral part of legendary Mexican teachers of boxing during a golden era.

An additional gem in Omar’s journey is his tutelage under the esteemed Mexican legendary coach, Nacho Silva. Under Silva’s guidance, Omar absorbed invaluable insights, further enriching his coaching philosophy and contributing to the legacy of Mexican boxing excellence.

His journey took a pivotal turn when he became an assistant and collaborator to Chepo Reynoso and the Canelo team, immersing himself in the expertise of some of the sport’s finest.
